India's best chance will be 2023 WC and if we lose that, then

"Khatam, Bye Bye"!

All these guys play in IPL. They all know the ground dimensions, what works what doesn't work. We may be behind the "8 ball" ( ravi shastri's new phrase) even at home.  India needs a monsterous hitting line up. 10x times what we have now.

Lol worst is yet to come at the Home WC .

The TM and the selectors just don't Learn

Yes, we play old fashioned game with oldie batsmen who are now a pale shadow of their former selves. They can tuk tuk these days but can't accelerate at all. But they will be in the X1 to guarantee revenue with their superstar presence.

No what we need is square turners! One of the reasons why we won in 2011 was the generally dry pitches, in Autumn/Winter there'll be a major issue of dew & toss can pretty much decide the game in such instances - get raggedy turners to nullify that to an extent although if there's no dew & we have to chase we're *ed any way

It's actually  " Zero Wins in Seven ICC Events in the Last 9 years "

This is the crux and the ideal title

Tells the actual story.

2 ICC event wins in 4 years sounds too good and does not give the true picture of the Senior Side.

Thats such a sad indictment on the state of Indian Cricket as a team internationally.

Yet nothing changes. Status quo remains.

One game does not define a career. What a coward. What a meek pathetic excuse.

Nothing will change for India, because no one is big enough influence to want India to become a powerhouse of cricket on field.

yes, that is the correct pic.  and once 2023 WC is over, it will be zero in a decade.

7 ICC event failures do define a career though.

Of course yes it will happen, nothing can be more surer. They will blame the toss or losing an injured player but the same result will happen, ie another failure at yet another world tournament.

Just waiting for some fool on here to justify Dhawan's selection in the WC for 2023.

On the basis of that stupidity, Tendulkar should be automatically named as opener for the WC.

dhawan, rohit, brat, kela, 3D vijay (shankar), DK --> the amazing top 6 I expect to see.
