Deepak Hooda bowling action needs to be tested

It's an awkward,  bent action.  The actual flex may be just about acceptable but its worth testing imo.

Yup.. Never liked action. He also used to pause a lot in u-19 wc 2014.. Still not sure about chucking..He will be caught soon if he does..

Pakistan won 2009 T20 WC reached SFs in 2010 and 2012 and did well in ODIs and Tests in that period with the help of Ajmal. He chucked for good 4-5 years with Hafeez.

I hope Deepak doesn't get called out for at least 3 years.

Right, let's not forget Senanayake for Lankans. People pile on Yuvraj for that horrible finals knock, check S/R of Rahane, RGS, Dhongi & yes even Kohli at the death! Then check the Lankan chucker's figures in that game

Yes, he will get called with the stricter chucking rules if tested, fully sleeves and a  very kinky action. A bit like old kane williamson and hafeez.

Glad that you noticed that. Not many here bring that up. Just before the release, he chucks and his effort ball is an obvious chuck.

He was our first change bowler in under-19 world cup. Took a fifer against Pakistan in 2014 world cup. Also made 22 in 18 balls.

Well the bowling action can change depending on a lot of factors & it can deteriorate especially under pressure/fatigue/old age etc.

In under-19 world cup he was the quintessential all rounder now we are looking for

 

2014/15 under-19 world cup performance by Indians. He played some clutch knocks along with Sarfraz.
