Its just smart move to further tap into growing Indian market. Gora understands how to follow the money.

How does giving RRR golden globe benefit goras in 2023 when everything is open market? Maybe social media and other media ratings might go up for this specific event but that’s just short term. Unless of course going forward they start nominating Indian songs in that category every year. Won’t be hard to find such brilliant choreographed numbers every year in Indian cinema.

I don’t think potential of Indian industry has not been lost on them. They have even eying for years. Big budget Hollywood movies already make more than most Indian movies in India.

I think this was well earned. I can’t think of better choreographed songs this year. There are Better songs out there, sure you have a point.

Hmm it's interesting how accent evolves with new found audience. Movie was against colonial empire. Fyi.

This was very strange.

I did a double take when this came on tv. People do change their accent when they talk abroad though. It is a natural phenomenon.

Even if it is 'natural', In India's case it should not be natural ....Indian accent is immensely common I believe Indian accent is spoken by more people than American accent in the world, so no need to change it for Americans or for anybody...

the dancing in the song is absolutely fantastic....the hardwork shows, both in the movie and the song.... congratulations to all associated n to Telugu movie industry!!

There's definitely some foul play. A song made for tik tokers cannot even pass the first leg of the competition.

Thought ICF is free of conspiracy theorists. Sadly I am proven wrong.

That one is also very catchy also. Although I like the male version picturized when he is getting tortured

Yep that’s the one I liked. I liked the male version in Telugu because the lyrics connected with me and they were  intense.  the female version I liked in Hindi more than Telugu.

it did look strange but that’s only a mirror to most Indians including me. We all tend to be extra careful  on our pronunciation when we speak to goras because our natural style (Indian languages) is speaking very fast so you tend to stress on some words more than others so some fake accent is unavoidable.

it looks even more strange here because normally these guys don’t interact with Americans every day so on such an occasion probably got carried away.

Lobbying is not a conspiracy, it's a fact. It takes money and massive effort to get your product out to as many target audience members as possible. There's nothing wrong with it. SSR, RC and NTR Jr have been traveling overseas for months now. They obviously will travel first class and stay in star hotels. Their travel costs alone must have cost a few million.

Two brown guys handily beating a big batch of goras - this makes for a great social justice theme. I like the song, I even watched the Japanese natto homage version and its creator's interview with the RRR team. The song is obviously very well recieved among international audiences as well.
