Because people are morons, Rohit was craved by everyone based on IPL results and we now know how great his captaincy has been in reality.

 

Dhoni was literally carried to those cups by his team just like Finch was carried to his world t20 by his team.

 

A good captain can be make some difference but he cannot overcome a bad team.So Stop judging captain just by cups.
