What next after Ashwin-Jadeja?

He prefers the shorter formats IMO, Ashwin is more into tests than him. But let's see how this pans out in the next few years.

Correct. Ashwin has always paid compliments to Jadeja in his youtube channel for his ability to bowl longer spells without dip in standard. Ashwin although has bowled some long spells doesn't have the same bowling stamina as Kumble or Jadeja. It took a while for him to recover from hip injury and abdominal strain. One more injury he will be out for good.

Off Spinners need not be super fit. He can easily play for 4-5 more years..

Kuldeep is already as good as Ashwin as a bowler at home and better than both Ashwin/Jadeja overseas. 

 

I always rated and still rate Axar as a better bowler than Jadeja in all formats. He can be more deadly than Jadeja in home tests. 

 

So we have Ashwin/Jadeja covered as bowlers. However, we really miss their batting. Hope Kuldeep improves his batting.

They do, you can see the performance of Murali falling off a cliff in the last year or two of his career. Even in SL he looked like a spent force at times!

In a way, these two are similar to Herath:

Average in SENA 43 (playing with a lesser well-rounded pace attack) 

 

India has hardly missed a particular spinner in such conditions as most key spinners will do the job. Needs to move away from playing in such conditions to develop a well rounded team and playing style!

kuldeep will be good, and someone like axar/shahbaz/mulani/rathva/suthar will substitute adequately. sundar can be a good 3rd spinner

Kuldeep would be fine. 

Jaddu can be a specialist bat in sena 

Sundar should definitely come in. But he is a batmsan who can bowl and thats what we need. Need pace all rounders for sena. Thats where we lack balance. Hangerakar or arjun tendlukar need to be groomed.

Go with sundarbun at 6 (love sundarbun national park btw. Amazing place)

7 shabaz or axar or jaddu can do the job

8 hangerakr or  A.T 

9 pacer combo. 9-11

 

I would like to try hangerakar

raj bawa needs to be groomed well. even the great ambrose was impressed by his bowling, and his batting is excellent too.

Kohli has been failing for 4 years and we have been still winning , but Ashwin Jaddu has one off day and we are already feeling the effect. Without doubt the greatest match winners of the last decade, will be very difficult to replace them.
