The way WI play at home they bring their a game in Tests esp against England but why do they shite their pants on away tours. SA isn’t a ‘great’ test team by any means.

Wi like SL randomly play very well sometimes. Every home England series is an eg. The last time they toured Bangladesh was also an eg which js by no means an easy place to go and play but they ended up winning 2-0 one of which was Mayers famous double century to chase 400 in the last innings.

They play better in subcontinental conditions is my sense.

1 of 3 ODI starts today

Not Part of WC ODI super League but SA still have 2 game ODI vs Netherland Which is WC ODI super league

Bavuma is actually one of the few in the Saf team who has the clutch gene. Especially after Fac retired. His low average was inspite of some knocks in touch situations due to not being able to cash in and make it count when batting was easier.

SA is shaping up well for the world cup.

Potential Top 7

Bavuma
De kock
Rassie v dussan
Markaram
Miller
Klassan
Jansen

Apart from these, they have got decent backup in R Hendriks, Rillee Rossouw and Janeman Malan.

Klaasen, Miller, Dekock, Markaram and that man Bavuma who is their best batsman under pressure. SA are a dangerous side.

Klaasen batting today reminded me of the way he took down Chahal in that one odi game we didn't win there in 017/18. Jansen ofc has taken apart an attack with Archer, Rashid Khan, sam curran and Rabada in the sa T20. They batted like England usually do today and chased it within 30 overs.

they have chased 264 in just 30 overs.. brilliant but it reminds me of that fateful nagpur game in 2000 which was supposedly fixed and Gibbs who agreed to fix it before the game changed his mind later and smashed our bowlers..

very rarely do you see teams going berserk after being 87/4 after 12 overs and still upping the rate to 8rpo while chasing a moderate target of 264

I don't see SA faring well in a WC, especially in SC conditions. I expect Aus to make a deep run and one among NZ & Eng; Pak and SL will be dark horses
