RCB are a franchise of gimmicks. They sign big names in both their men's and women's teams to create hype off the field..updating their badge, audition for women bowling 130s, Go green, Mock auctions, Nags show and all that..they don't care about onfield success. At least Delhi and Punjab are not nearly as pretentious

Every franchise cares about on-field success. Just that some need off field initiatives too or more than others  to keep the fans connected (at times, the owners believe in such initiatives).

RCB are also notorious of not producing young players who can win games on their own.

Where are the RCB's Rinku Singh or Venky Iyer(in 2021)? They just rely on big names. Earlier it was Gayle, ABD and now Faf, Maxi.

Old Man Kohli never liked younger talented players. Not one emerged under his captaincy at international level. Saw them as a threat.

Even older and insecure now. Any young player better off elsewhere.

Barring Maxwell Kohli & a retired FAF they don't have the big names.  It's a jugaadu team at best.  It's a big myth they have big names.  I don't think after 2017 they really had the star power

Shabaz and DK flopped big time. both were the heroes in several finishes last season. It is not about pressure. DK has lost his ability, mojo. It lasted for only one IPL season. Didn't they see DK's performance in world T20?

Last season DK mostly did well at Wankhede iirc (his stats/performances are influenced by that). Did not do that well at other venues. This IPL, RCB will only play one game at Wankhede (where DK could shine).

What is Shahbaz's role ?..I am yet to figure out if he's a bowler or a batter first.
He don't see skilled at either of the roles, just a filler who can play the supporting act to others....even last season he mostly acted as a support to DK who actually was the main performer.
At this moment, he is a just way inferior version of Axar Patel.

Even Lomror hasn't performed but based on his stini with other franchises, he is someone who can play quick fire inns of 30-40 runs in 20-22 balls.
