Based on a few youtuber film reviewers this seems to be a mega disaster and bastardisaton of our beloved Lord Ram and Ramayan with gahtiya vfx, chapri tapori dialogues... oh god save me. Has anyone seen this?

Those so called RW & Paid boycott gang who were promoting Adipurush entire last month  are in perpetual meltdown. 

Love to see this....  Absolute garbage as expected. :hysterical:

 

Brahmastra looks like high octane Marvel's movie compared to this crap.

Taimur/Timur is a national Hero of Uzbekistan though.    Saif is actually a decent actor as he was pretty fine in Tanhaji which made by same Om Raut.  Blame T series Bhushan Koomar for this crap show.

They were dissed by all from the first promos. I don’t know who promoted this BS at least to SM. 
 

After the first promos were trashed, the producers told that they have made some changes given people’s sensibilities. If these are the changes, then there’s no hope. One good thing is that we can forget watching this monstrosity in theaters as it will appear very soon on OTT

Entire last week was filled with them promoting this movie...  That BGM & what not....  They are rightly getting  trolled badly.

So one can not name someone a non Indian name??  Akbar was a non Indian,  Maybe Jahangir too...  Yet we see people naming their children said name.  Even f***in Aurangzeb. 

Very petty reason to cancel someone over.   He is not glorifying the person though.

Epics like Ramayana & Mahabharat requires a dedicated cast,  production planning & research and years of making to come closer to even 50-60% perfection. 

Mahabharata is almost impossible for current Indian filmmakers or production houses..  Maybe they will have this capability a decade later. 

 

Ramayana has a lot of grey characters as well.   Its hard to do justice to them..  Ramanand Sagar was not as accurate but he made sure to at least have a proper portrayal of those characters.

Yet he is not a national hero in any country or even the country he is born in...  He falls under dictator category.  Kim Hong Un types.  I bet many countries would call out Germany if they built statues in his honor. 

Timur,  Nader Shah are national heroes of Uzbekistan & Iran. 

There is a official Ahmed Shah Abdali Cricket tournament in Afghanistan of ACB as well. 

Names are subjective in the end.  Their ideology & intention matter.

Did Saif said his inspiration was Timur??  That's why he named his son in Urdu version of his name? 

 

FYI Hindus name their kid Meghanad (most powerful Mortal though) all the time...  Despite his villian arc.

Seems like a shameless attempt to cash in on Lord Ram's name. Makers of the movie have sought and obtained permission to hike the ticket price by 50 Rs. Kis khushi mein? Why do these assholes expect aam public to feed their profiteering attempts?

after the first teaser it got universally panned.

 

after the 1st trailer the vfx wasn’t any better but people had hope that let’s hope they keep the essence of Lord ram and story in the film.

 

it was after the 2nd trailer it was confirmed that it was going to be a disaster. The only people who are gaga over it are toxic Prabhas fans.


It’s not about right wing or left wing.. Ramayan and its maryada and its essence was not based on political wings. If you can’t respect it and understand the emotion behind it then it’s best to keep your mouth shut.

Saif was awesome in movies like Ek haseena thi, Omkara. I even liked his less serious roles in Dil chahta hai, Cocktail, Hum Tum and the only one I could bear in Kal ho na ho
