Pandya is not a hitter anymore.This year his SR in both formats has been low. I think its result of taking GT captaincy and changing his approach.

What innings was that , other than last 2 over he was striking at 100 SR. Not mention all his innings during last two t20 world cup where his SR was like 100.

Jinx mat karo bhai.. I'm enjoying it as well. On song, he can blast spinners and fast bowlers. 3 sixes already and he is looking to score singles also when available.

WC SF T20 against Eng last year. 63 off 33. 4 fours, 5 sixes. Sr 191.

you need attacking opener like Kishan for flat Indian pitches. just give him freedom to attack in the PP. Rohit and Gill are nto the ideal opening partners.  i would not want to change these two , fit Roko in the middle order.

it was a brilliant innings in that situation. lost 5 wickets quickly. no real batting after him.  Kohli batting slowly. he had to do both things,  not lose his wicket and also score quickly as well which he did.

nah its okay, he has to perform v big teams too.Lots of alternatives otherwise.

 

Samson is more suited to T20.

That is what people are forgetting comparing his SR to Kohli and top order batsman.

 

At the end of 17 th over this was his 24 run (21b 1x4 1x6).How is that great hitting???

 

Any set batsmen who has played 20 plus deliveries will scores those runs in last three overs.

Yes.. It was an ok score in the end but our bowlers completely shat on the score. Old man Shami was smashed for 39 in 3, Pathetic Bhuvi went for 25 off 12,Pandya himself went for 34 off 3 . Arshdeep did well. Only bowled 2 overs for 15. I fear for this undercutter if he is played in any WC match. If Dravid needed a left hander, should have groomed Arshdeep.

India was 121 for 3 after 17 overs.

 

24 (21b 1x4 1x6) in what world it is called brilliant innings.
