One hand, there is genuine inferiority complex among many brown sahibs trying to get validation of west ( not unusual considering 200 years indoctrination and colonial rule ). These collaborators and descendants continue to play the same role. The extent of self condescension is much, that they are whiter than white in many ways. Then there are Indians willing to to be overly nationalistic driven by false sense of superiority or inferiority willing to condescend every western view while also seeking their validation. At some stage in next 5-7 years, I believe there will be a decisive shift in how we percieve ourselves and also how we are percieved. Dont think people who are caught in trivial here and now issues understand the shift that is happening. Its probably going to happen in our life time.
