Winnable match lost. One of the ATG  Collapses for India until this one was surpassed by India in Srilanka where they lost 7 wickets  for 25 runs when they were coasting towards win.  Then there was another one in 2016

There is an interesting story from this game

--
Dean Jones hit Maninder Singh to long on and Ravi Shastri tried to take the catch but missed. The umpire gave it a four based on what Shastri said. Kiran More who kept wickets agreed it was not a six while Jones was confident it was a big hit.

During the innings break the Aussie manager went all out saying he was not happy. The umpires had a word with the team management and went to Kapil Dev for his input. The Indian captain in a great gesture, decided to allow the six and the score got pushed from 268 to 270. We would fall for 269 and in the end, it came down to those 2 extra runs that cost us a win.
