yeah its based on team. Pak if qualifies will play at Kolkata only even if its v India. India will play at Mumbai unless its vs Pak, Rest teams mere mortals

India has a pathetic record against NZ in world cups. Played 9,won 3 and lost 5, 1 No Result. The only victory came in 2003 and we play them on Sun in Dharamshala. Looks like 10-3

Winning this game is extremally important. Sure it assures us of a place in semis (assuming we will win against Ned) but more than that its clearing the mental block.

Considering the venue and the team we are up against, this would have been the ideal venue to stack the XI with seamers and Kuldeep a rest. Imo, it should have been

NZ batters wouldn't have survived that. As the bilateral series earlier this year showed, if it helps seamers even a bit, they simply can't handle pace

I think against NZ, Ashwin is a must. Top is scoring runs anyway and Ashwin can really hurt NZ.

we could try creative rejigging of batting order. maybe use ashwin as pinch hitter or pinch anchor. that will artificially lengthen the batting
