That is most underrated reasons for that loss.Bhuvi and Bumrah while did not take many wickets, they kept it tight but pressure was released by Pandya and then completely gone after Chahal started bowling.

Last time, we had a strong Top 3 but we lost Dhawan and then we're dependent on Kohli and Rohit. 

 

This time , the Top 5 are well settled and batting superbly.

 

Iyer, since Indore ODI, is averaging 70 + and at a strike rate of 113.

 

Having a settled batting lineup who are all among the runs rather than just relying on 2 batters has been the difference.

yes, middle order batting is much better. both 2019 and now do not have lower order batting though. 2011 had that with raina at 7 and likes of zak, bhajji, ash, etc. who could bat at 8 and 9
