Who cant wait for sir Pant to make a comeback?!

Pant is so talented and proven in Aus you want him to succeed just for that alone. Too bad he got involved in that horrible accident. I'm happy he has survived and his health is back to normal. If he is not able to replicate his success he has shown in the past, he should be happy for his health. Many people have lost their health, living with disabilities or even their lives with such accidents. Wish him the best :two_thumbs_up:

Last match i saw him feeling some discomfort while keeping. His keeping is good. I won't say he has any restricted movement. But is he fit enough to keep in Tests for long periods? Needs more eviidence on that. I hope he plays some first class to test it out.

At the moment, Pant *MUST* be #2 in Tests, behind Jurel. After his stellar debut, where he literally proved he's miles ahead of Pant at similar stage in tests and throwing in a performance both with bat and gloves that would make some of the greatest wicketkeepers proud, the spot must be his to lose.
Sorry Pant, but meritocracy demands that Jurel be the #1 for now.

That's ridiculously over the top. Jurel has played just 3 tests at home against one of the weakest bowling attacks to tour India. His first class record is also just 18 matches which is not a big sample size and he has only played games in India.

Pant is a generational talent whose record in all conditions against much stronger attacks is exceptional. If he is fully fit and performing well, there is no question he must slot right back into the test team especially as the next big series is in Australia.

Jurel is very early in his career and has the opportunity to build his career with the weight of runs and make himself into a pure batsman if that is his best way to break into the team.

At the same stage, Jurel is ahead of Pant. Weakest attack or not, he still was the KEY stalwart in defeating England, both with the bat and the ball, winning MoM. Which puts him ahead of Pant at the moment. Pure batsman ? he is already a better keeper than Pant is.

How is he ahead of the best test batsmen we had who performed all over the world and has 4 100s in SENA?

And you can keep lying about pants keeping, pant was the best keeper in the world for last 2 years before he got injured. He was only bad in initial stages when Indian fans were booing him which was clearly nerves. Jurel has already made some mistakes in the test series.

Fans like you will then ask Jurel to be dropped after the next series for someone else, lol

Because at comparative stages he is ahead and he has performed excellently in the most recent showing, which puts him ahead of someone out of action for years.

You can keep lying about Pant's keeping being up to the snuff but if it were, he'd not be replaced early on. Thanks for admitting that at Jurel's age, Jurel is a far better batter than Pant and that Pant cant handle some crowd pressure.

Pant if he can replicate his past success, can walk back into the team. All three results are possible. The winning team has to just bat bowl and field better. He got the elevation not the distance.

He never had a 'successful past' in T20 format.     (66 T20s with an avg of 22 and SR of barely 120)

yeah, he's never quite cracked T20Is. And even in ODIs, it took a while before he fulfilled some part of his potential

You have a serious response to my trolling post. But but the subject does not say t20. It just says come back. And it means his format which is test.

@SRT100 you were saying Pant wont be able to comeback till 25 and also wont be able to do much after that?

You claimed this based on how Australian Medical set up works and all, where are you rught now?

from next time remember that you are an abject failure in prediction as you have displayed from time to time. You should probably stop watching cricket

He claimed Pant will never ever play again.

When Pant started his comeback videos, he claimed there was no way he could come back for years.

Then he claimed he would never come back this year in IPL

Then he claimed even if he cameback he could never keep.

The claimed he would never be able to hit the same way as before.

All these based on some famous doctors which he had some conversations with.

Excellent golve work from Pant today. Should be our first choice WK.

After injury he has lost some weight. Probably his mobility has improved. He has taken  a few wrong footed catches meaning his reflexes are intact. What a champion he is. Very inspiring come back
