Do not think many runs will be coming in last 4/5 overs with these Finishers and If Rohit and Kolhi at batting in last 3/4 overs its fair to assume they have already eaten up good amount balls.

There are many gaps in the T20 side..

Both Rohit & Kohli batting together is going to be a problem if the pitch is flat. Neither can score at a high SR from ball one, both are weak against spin specially left arm orthodox and has weakness against the left arm pace bringing the ball in. In an ideal world only one of them should have selected in the squad.

 

Pant is a misfit in the T20, he always look out of balance and hence his shots despite trying hard doesn't have the same amount of power which he can generate if his base is strong. I still consider Jitesh as a better T20 player than Pant as he can bat at no 5-6-7 without any issues.

 

Pandya & Jadeja are on a decline...Pandya's hitting ability is gone while Jaddu was never a hitter.

 

Unless we play Axar..our 8-11 will comprise of tailenders. That means once we are 6 wickets down, the other batter has to manage everything by himself. We are hoping here that Arshdeep contributes with the bat as well.

 

Only 3 pacers means we are heavily dependent on our spin. That can be a problem against the Asian sides who has spin smashers in their MO. Also, even the non Asian teams have improved their game vs spin big time.

Ind always played dated cricket, but t20 is moving v.fast and their dated approaching is costing them. In today's world either they have to have modern t20 shots or have brute power to clear boundaries. which Ind team lacks.

 

Pandaya -he is been found-out he can only hit spinners and he find it hard to hit pacer unless they bowl on his pads where he can flick. Rest even full ball he kind of plays with 3/4 of the bat in the air.

 

Think non-asian teams are better hitters of spin bowling with their sweeps/reverse sweeps and ramps.

 

Donot think Dube will fit into the side, Rohit and Kolhi whould be hopping Jaiswal and Sky are going in 4/5 fifth gear when they are playing with them so that they can do the anchor job as Ind team finisher are also not big hitters themselves.

Chalo. Serious teams like Aus, Eng, NZ can focus on cricket while India team can go to LA and Las Vegas along with their family to have some fun time.

 

First time in my life I am going to hope Pak team thrash these entitled lot and make them look **** which is exactly what they are.

For the first time i may root against these clowns.  The politicis these morons play to keep each other is disgusting. How many players never got a relook. From Karun Nair to Rinku. They were just dropped and never came back. Will Rinku go that way too? Tripathi , Venky iyer who actually have decent T20 record with India all disappeared. Unless that guy is part of s uperstar franchise  they don't get a chance. Ruturaj is not even in discussion let alone getting selection. BCCI knows who has fanbase and who has influence and select based on that.

That England game had me traumatized  growing up...  One of the worst T20 WC performances ever. 

People call out even Dhoni Yuvi for 2014 final but this guy has escaped every single time.

In 2010, he was hit for 6 consecutive 6s across 2 overs, 3 by Watson, 3 by Warner. His 90 SR batting and utter selfishness don't help matters, this guy is so selfish and stats obsessed that he will choose his not out over winning a WC final, and he will run out each of his partners but never sacrifice his wicket.

Super 8 will be based on pre-touney seeding. So we'll be in a group with NZ, Aus, Lanka in Super 8s......tough to even qualify for SF. In present form Aus and NZ are better than Eng, RSA.

not sure how thats possible- for that to happen we would need to lose to Canada and USA and win against Pak?

Pak T20I team peaked in 2021-22. Right now should be easy to beat them, even with our faltu XI.
