yeah, samar qadri for us was a lot like him, but never got selected even for Ind A. McGill was a massive turner of the ball

You can't get that kind of spin at the pace modern spinners bowl at.  

 

When they slow it down, Kuldeep and Adil Rashid cab easily do what MacGill did.   Matt Parkinson is another

McGill was the big turner, but he was prone to leak runs as well.

McGill always turned it most but it's fun to watch bowlers getting batsmen around their legs. Warne and McGill used to do it frequently. Now it's not much seen these days.

Great turner but very poor control, OG full toss and long hop merchant before Shadab. That Aussie team could afford a bowler like him, lesser teams would never accommodate someone so erratic.

Its okay in Tests. You need someone who can turn it on flat decks.
