yes in T20 you either need to be multi skilled or be super reliable in your only skill. 

 

Selecting unreliable single skilled players like Rohit, Chahal,Siraj etc is madness. I'd any day taken ever Axar/Jaddu/Pandu over them.

Let's see when Kohli, Rohit, Jadeja etc. are able to win a tourney for once. If the benchmark is performing in a match against a poor Pak team - lost against Ireland and beaten by Eng just now - then we may as well not even go there. Pak is a mediocre mid-table team, and my point was that it's a shame that with all our resources we're in the same category as them when we should be dominating most teams.

If everything goes according to seeding, Pak will have Eng, RSA, WI in their super 8s group....don't rule out another SF for them. Knowing their luck they will face NZ in the semi and reach another final.

I thought only loser Pak fans had this obsession of just winning one match against India, instead of aiming for the entire cup. This is the way these super star chokers have managed to fool so many fans. if they just perform against Pak no one cares they have won NOTHING for SEVENTEEN years in T20. What a loser mentality.

I think both India and Pak will choke big time this T20, world has moved on and most teams, even minnows are practicing big hitting. These 2 teams are full of stat padders.

Yeah, rather lose to Pak if that means winning the entire cup. Sick of this rivalry now, artificially manufactured as in draws being tampered with to ensure we play in every ICC event, this kind of chwtiyapa is unheard of in other sports.

Ok then the IPL heroes should absolutely crush the "poor" Pak team. We are playing them soon and hopefully the IPL heroes can easily dismantle Pak. We will see.....

Which IPL heroes? The top performers are not even selected. Abhishek is the best Indian opener, Varun C is the best spinner, Nattu (or Bhuvi or Harshit Rana) is way ahead of Siraj, Riyan Parag is comfortably the best middle order batsman etc. The very fact there're no Indian player selected from the two IPL finalists says it all.

Looking at the spin attack of Pakistan RSA and WI will be massive favorites against them.

The difference between the power hitting abilities of SENAW and India/Pak batting lineups is just way too much. People are saying SC teams will do well on slow WI wickets, but the same was said during the 2007 WC and the 2010 WT20s which were won by Australia and England respectively.
