Folks,

Which team is worse, and a bigger joke. Is it RBC who haven't won a single IPL trophy yet despite getting to playoffs 9 times!

Or is it Team India who hasn't won anything in a decade and just like RCB, they get to knockouts and then get beaten by everyone.

Common thread between the two? King Kohli! Haven't seen a bigger panauti ever! I mean across RCB and India, "King" Kohli's team has been to knockouts/playoffs a whopping 18 or 19 times (across IPL playoffs, ODI WC, WT20, WTC finals), and yet not even a single title! Undisputed king of choking and I doubt anyone can beat this level of manhoosiyat :hail:

India had teams with nerves of steel in 2007 t20wc, 2011 ODI world cup, and 2013 CT. Its the magic of rat that has started plummeting in world tourneys and RCB constantly sucking

With CSK and MI players winning 5 IPLs, bas hijhadon ki tarah hilate rahein in India matches. IPL wins matter zilch in international scene.

Honestly, I don't give two hoots about who wins in IPL. I enjoy watching it just to see upcoming domestic Indian talent and overall entertainment value.

RCB losing every time gives me a kick though just to see that arrogant overrated Kohli being brought back to Earth.

India losing every time hurts. Hurts real bad. I feel like I want to give up watching cricket evey time. I don't mind if we put up our best team and lost to a better team, but almost all the time, we lose because we put up a terrible team. We overrate experienced players and keep picking them when they are way past their prime and no longer should command a place in the team. On top of that, these experienced players are extremely experienced chokers as well, will always disappoint in crucial KO games. So that is the part that hurts the most. Not that we lost, but we lost because we picked individuals chasing personal milestones and not the right team.

When we have likes of Kohli and Rohit in the team, what else can we expect? You can see his performances fall off the cliff in IPL and the same happens at intl level. Yet we select him for the next tourney. That's the very definition of insanity, i.e., doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

I mean Kohli has had 20+ chances in playoffs/knockouts across formats and yet not even a single impactful knock! It's clear as day the guy buckles under pressure and yet he's selected for yet another tourney. I mean what exactly do you think he'll do? If he hasn't played one match-defining innings in 20+ chances in more than a decade, what makes you think he'll do it now?

India has all the resources to dominate cricket a la the legendary WI and Aus teams of the past. RCB doesn't.

India's ICC drought is a disgrace. 17 years without a T20 WC trophy, ultimate humiliation.

why even is RCB an option- tatti money making league cannot be compared to Team India succes- and the lack of this is the worst thing for any indian fan by a country mile.

2 trophies in 17 years... disgrace for the richest board, and the biggest cricket playing country with 1Bil plus people

Chokli will never win anything for a team. That's the only common loser between the two.

Otherwise, Team India might be the greatest loser in the world of sports currently considering talent and resources available.

Dunno about this statement (even in principle). We are not peak US, peak Aus, peak Ger - these countries produce massive sports pools across multiple sports

We have that pool in cricket, with all the attention diverted towards it. Not talking about other sports.

Just an observation: The contrast between the theme of this post/thread and your signature at bottom? Striking!

Orange cap

Player of the tournament award

SLowing down for 100

These things don't win tournaments. Most memorable knocks for India are not 100s. They are 80s or 90s

Sehwag 83 chennai test

Gambhir 97 wc final

Dhoni 91* WC final

Pant 97 SCG

Gill 91 Gabba

Pant 89* Gabba

Sundar 22 (29) Gabba. Started the acceleration and belief that spurred Pant to finish it off. High-impact!
