cricketfan28 Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Jadeja I can.understanf but why axar he is not even a super star with 0 fans.
Downtown Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 All I want Abhishek to do is score a quick 45 in 18 balls. If he doesn't succeed, I'm confident he'll take one or two crucial wickets with his bowling. On the other hand, Jadeja hasn't been performing well in either batting or bowling, and he's played a significant role in CSK's struggles this season. It frustrates me to hear players like Rohit and Jadeja mentioned in LOIs. Their time was over way back in 2019. tweaker 1

srgadjon Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 In T20s, Jadeja is one of those bowlers which every opposite team batsmen will be lining up for. On flat tracks, he can become so predictable and easy to hit sixes. The pitch should help turn for him to be anywhere effective. But he is a pretty decent hitter on flat tracks though, but if the pitch ain't flat, he's not scoring too many.
BacktoCricaddict Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 To be fair, Abhishek Sharma has emerged only this year as a consistent performer in domestic tourneys and IPL. So, to not pick him after the year he has had is not smart.

So is Paragh who is even more a regular bowler than Abhishek. It is criminal to ignore multi skilled players. Both are excellent fielders as well. Not crappy fielders like Chahal. vvvslaxman Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Varun Aaron today When I saw the starting XI, I knew he's [Abhishek] going to bowl today," Varun Aaron said on ESPNcricinfo's Time Out show. "He's a really good bowler. I've seen a lot of him in domestic cricket. He's one of those bowlers who tosses it up a little bit, more than the others. He bowls that carrom ball which comes out from the front of the hand, that was a really good ball." What kind of a talent scouting we have. Seriously. India just need a leader and youngsters than can be molded. India has a lot of good batsmen, bowlers even all rounders. This Agarkar doofus really messed up the opportunity. I said this like ages back. India have the best talent for test and odi cricket. Even t20 we can compete at the top if we make right selections. This goes for spin and pace bowling. We need a proper coach. I am all for gambir He is a natural born winner. Natural leader. He even said, people don't pay me to look good. People pay to see me win. I like winning. Winning is an obsession. He has won every trophy. World Cup t20 world cup odi Test number 1 for a few years kkr trophy in ipl. 2 ipl titles sorry. AuxiliA and singhvivek141 1 1
singhvivek141 Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 2 reasons for that 1. Abhishek flopped down the order, all his success as a batter has come at the top. Plus our top order was always static with presence of Rohit & Kohli. 2. Abhishek wasn't consistent in IPL except this season. While his domestic numbers were solid, IPL has been the key parameter for selections and there Axar used to outperform him. Jadeja is ofcourse Dhoni's right hand so he will automatically be endorsed.
Ultimate_Game Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Dude where've you been hiding for the last few months? Both Abhishek and Riyaan Parag have been amazing both at domestic level (SMA) and IPL. And Abhishek's not a bad bowler either - check out his bowling stats on cricinfo. He walks into the team easily but unfortunately Indian team selection doesn't bother with things like ability, talent, and performance. In Indian cricket "experience" and seniority quota is the main criteria. Sgattick10 1

Nikhil_cric Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Forget about those two. Can someone explain why he can't make squad ahead of the so called legspinner that is Chahal? I will play hom even as a lower order hitter because he will be better than Chahal as a bowler alone and the few runs he hits will be a bonus. Ultimate_Game 1
