And this piece of shyte was taken ahead of Rinku. He was selected specifically to play spinners as he can't really do much against pacers. And the way he got out to Rashid was embarrassing. It was as if he was facing leg spin for the first time ever. Maybe he was expecting Rashid to bowl like Yuzi Chahal

His selection was justified saying he bowls and Rinku doesn't lol. His bowling is as useful as Kohli's at this level. No captain will trust him with a single over in T20Is unless the game is decided.

And they pushed out a player who didn't fail in a single international innings for this fraud.

In one of the matches he rescued India from a disastrous position where we ha dlost 4 wkts for under 50 and we ended up with a total of more than 200 thanks to Rinku. And as a reward he gets dropped for this turd!

All the expert analysts who probably don't watch IPL are laughing at him wondering that how can this guy play for India, but still the egos of fatso Rohit and his yes-man Rahul are so big that they will still not dump him.

If our senior TTF batsmen had supported our bowling lineup in knockouts in any tourney, he would've had a couple of trophies by now. Our batting has shyte the bed in every knockout led by "King" Kohli and "Hitman" Rohit. They couldn't chase 230 odd against NZ in 2019, and failed to do anything meaningful in 2023 WC final despite Rohit giving us a great start. Even if we had scored at a RR of 5 an over after the start Rohit had given us, we would've cruised to a total of 280-290 which would've been decent in the final.

 

And now instead of admitting that Kohli as opener is a bad idea, and Dube is not fit for intls, they're gonna continue with the sham  and pay the price in a knockout.

There should be no place for him, he played an okay innings today ( consisted pf many hoicks and ungainly horizon swats) but he won’t be able to handle the aussie bowlers or the English ones.

 

Its quite easy to infer that he can’t play quality bowling.

He definitely should be part of the team, his position is debatable.
I would have liked to see Jaiswal and Kohli open for us while Rohit should have come down the order.

Kohli had a good IPL, especially the second half so there shouldn't be any doubts on his position, also the pitches here arent made for 200+ scores, so he fits well.

Its just that he is trying to take an attacking approach and is failing, last night against Bangladesh he was 37(27) , he could have easily gone on to make 80 odd of 50 balls with his regular approach but he tried charging and lost his wkt. 

Not just him, but the whole team is taking this mindless (Intent) approach which can cost us, if he scored an 80 odd yesterday he would have been relaxed for the next big game but he didnt do that.

I hope that if he is taking this approach then he shouldn't give up now, just go with it for this whole world t20. Also in normal chases he should take his regular approach.

Tomorrow we are definitely beating Australia, so Aussies will be out, this is our best chance at a t20 world cup.

The problem with Dubey is that he is just not an international level player and will struggle against above average bowling attacks which we will face in all the matches starting from tomorrow, I hope sense prevails and we bring in Samson.

Also we need to replace Jadeja, actually he is an even bigger passenger in the t20 team, if we can only replace one of them then Jadeja needs to go for Sanju.

Don't rate Dube's batting at all.  But when he hits big, the ball disappears completely.  The lad is a stud.   Striking similarity with Windies power hitters.  LOL.  Not kidding.
