Dube is only capable of scoring on low and slow wickets like Chennai. Can't bat,can't bowl and can't even field. Someone like Nitish kumar reddy is so much more talented but this this hack is being selected above the likes of Jaiswal and Samson.

Even Venky Iyer gets ignored as he is from KKR ..

I feel he should be given a chance and we should also groom Reddy.

I am prepared to give him a chance to fail at the very least before writing him off completely. The ipl season he had deserves at least this much. 

It would be easier if he was a reliable bowling option.

Compared to Dube, 3D Shankar is Sobers....at least helped us win the ODI series in NZ in 2019 (he and Rayudu), and was decent as long as he played in 2019 WC.

He literally had half a good IPL season, his 2023 stats are better than this year.

3D Shanker in my mind will always be a star. He fluffed his lines in that nidahas final for 6 balls but still steered the 3rd ball for 4 and then got out next ball to get DK on strike. Also his 2019 special. 2/22. Getting the first breakthrough for india getting imam out and then later on coming and getting rid of Sarfraz.. at least he didnt choke in big stage.. Dube was like a headless chicken running around in circles

I have no issues with guys getting out first ball. But if a batsman has faced 10 balls at least he would be able to gauge the pitch. Siraj and arshdeep played wonderfully well. Singles and doubles at will. We would have got 126 if not for that run out

SKY, Pandya went same way. Jadeja first ball. Heck even Pant struggled throughout his innings.

 

T20 on such a rubbish pitch will always confuse batsmen on whether to attack or defend.

Also remember the game against Australia where he got two wickets in two balls in the last over. If he had gotten some backing for ODIs after the 2019 WC, he might have had a decent career.
