India picked 4 spinners cause 2 can bat. If jaddu or axar couldn't bat then we would have had a shardul with bishnoi.

That's the whole point. Shardul can bat too perhaps better than Jadeja. Extra spinner is only due to  Guyana

But why should only India get that advantage? They are not even host nation like Aussies in 2022

But what's the advantage in there?

Now Vaughan and Gilly are having RR meltdown on the bending of rules for India. Vaughn is crying that they scheduled India in Guyana where it rains a lot. How can ICC manufacture on a particular day? Truly this is called choodi todna

Knowing where you gonna play helps in planning and team selection

You should include the link to the article instead of cut n paste. I didn’t realize it was an article until midway.

Telegraph is a major leftist media who hate capitalism, BCCI money, franchise sports etc., would naturally whine about venue selection. It was not to maximize India’s chances to win the WC, but to grab eyes of all India matches to the maximum. They are all scheduled day matches made for prime time viewership in India. These racist colonialists still live in 70s think England, Australia and MCC dominate Cricket rules and can’t digest that India is a Cricket powerhouse and that ICC bends down to BCCI. Article will be a hit in the green ghetto!

no team is playing without knowing where they are playing.  It would have helped if India has already played several games on this ground.  it is their first game here and that to SF, there is no advantage in it.    England also know they are playing in Guyana.

India knew before the tournament started that they'll play here if they qualify. England didn't

I don't see how is that an advantage.

Then why not give this to both teams?

They wanted 10.30 time slot for India. That is why.

How does affect the ground choice?
