Which one would you prefer among these?

So if you must pick one win among these , which one would you rather see us win?

 

1. Winning third consecutive BGT down under 

 

2. Winning the Champions Trophy by beating Pakistan in the final thereby avenging 2017.

 

3. Winning our first ever WTC at Lords

We hv won 4 back to back BGTs.  2 in Ind & 2 downunder.  For a change, WTC championship title would be an icing on the cake.   (Having said that, I won't mind winning all 3 of the options specified.  LOL)

What icing, what cake? The WTC itself is a joke wit Eng being paraded as a "netural" venue 

 

There's a reason why test "series" wins are coveted & not one off tests!

If Team Ind & BCCI think WTC is a joke, then they are free not to participate in it.  But participating (since 2021) and then calling it a joke doesn't augur well for the fans nor for the team.

Normally I would say away BGT.

 

But we have won the last 2 away BGTs. And lost 2 WTC Finals. 

 

So, if I have to choose only 1,  I would choose WTC this time.

 

But Ideally I want both.

 

CT is low on my priority list.

 

Really want to win the ODI WC 2027.

7)  Home Test series wins vs Australia, England. 

 

8)  Champion's Trophy win.

This probably would be unprecented IIRC, Eng won 8 test series in a row(home & away) vs Oz back till early 1900's - though the number of tests were pretty low each time. Then WI won 5 or 6 in a row till the mid 80's & then finally SA who won 3 in a row away last decade. But none of the teams won 4 test series in a row, I mean at least 4 tests in a series! This could be a first in 140+ years

4.  Home Test series wins over ENG/OZ

7. ODI series(bilaterals + tournament ) against PAK/SA/NZ/OZ/ENG

8.  All bilateral T20's + ODIs and Tests against teams not named above.

My personal pick would be to win the WTC final at an iconic venue like Lords and become the second team to win all 4 ICC events and the first Asian side to do so. 

 

We missed a golden chance in 2023 thanks to some terrible selection calls (KS Bharat, Umesh etc) and an awful decision at the toss by Rohit. All we need to do was tame Head using Ashwin and we'd have probably won that becoming the first ever side to win all 3 World titles and all 4 ICC titles.

BGT, for me the greatest prize there is. Number 1 vs 2 in a no holds barred 5 test series.

Think champions trophy is a waste of time. Are they going to be doing like t20 champions trophy or odi? So pointless. So many tournaments already.

Slight change to my order but more or less the same

 

1) away test wins in aus eng and SA

3) t20 world cup win. In future can move ahead of odi. Lot of teams play t20. It's popular
