Haha no rules nothing. But cause I am a big boy, they usually hesitate to go hard on me. If I see a slide tackle coming in I will jump and try to land on their leg to break it. Which I have done and I have zero regrets. If you are going to play like a dick then be prepared to face the consequences.

As suspected this is clickbait and an old story which happened before 2013 and was some low profile event... this keeps on coming up and rehashed on reddit and other forums regularly...

I highly doubt anyone would give up an Olympic medal. One thing to do it in some random event which nobody cares about and has no impact on the athlete.

Volleyball is an amazing spectator sport.  So much skill, teamwork and athleticism

Everyone is the same when stakes are high. Taking an example from some random no-name event doesn't really prove much. I would say the Spanish athlete would gain more from letting the Kenyan athlete win than win the race himself as it was a pretty low profile race. But that gesture would make the headlines. It's similar to lot of "feel good" videos you see which are staged for likes.

My grandparents were from Bhopal, used to visit them during vacation till when I was around 12 years old. Locals used to play hockey near their house and it was always a scary experience walking in that area when the game was on. Very violent sport and the hard balls used to be hit with so much force, no protection as well. All the elders used to curse them. 

 

Drag flicks are hit at 130+ kph, elite ones even go at 140+ kph. When they take the shot from the D it is almost like a Bumrah or Cummins ball from 16 yards (cricket pitch 22 yards long) also raised dangerously (no bounce unlike cricket). Then the defenders have to block it with stick, first rusher rushes towards the PC taker to cut the angle and usually gets worst injuries. Hardly any protection unlike cricket, and few years back even helmet wasn't used. Once I remember a ball hitting Dilip Tirkey's skull dangerously (later revealed to be hairline fracture) and he came back to play after some help from physio. Requires lots of guts to play this sport.

No, it is one of the hardest sport.Just take time to understand the scoring you will then enjoy it.

She is the oldest gymnast and still she is dominating the field . Our own Dipa tried then the most difficult version of Vault in 2016 Rio games  just missed bronze medal.

We have a South Korean coach in archery who guided South Korean girls team to two Olympic golds in the past. He himself won 5 archery Olympic medals including 4 golds in the past. Because of internal politics he wasn't allowed to travel with the team.

ouch i wouldnt play such a sport. thats too "extreme" for moi. but for people who want to dick around (like bullying in high school), its fair game and i wouldnt bat an eyelid while doing the same as you. so the craziness id there but i prefer not to use it in sports
