India had no business of winning 1983 world cup against WI  But they did  on that day they were better.

In the last 20 yrs - no country has the kind of money or power as the BCCI in cricket. 80s and 90s were a different era.

So what? Money makes talent?

 

They have shown they can win anywhere that is why public also understands.When that happens with other sports public will support it too.

Man city also have lot of money. Just as an example. So does psg. Real is the only one winning consistently in ucl. Tournament games need luck.

 

League not so much. India would dominate the leagues.

They are dominant in all three formats, they just have not won the hardware.

 

They were the best team in 2023 world cup they had one lousy day.

Yeah, you have come this far, you won our hearts blah blah needs to stop. The players have decent popularity too now so they get good sponsors too along with support from federation and govt. 

Did Carolina Marin make excuses that oh in Spain noone knows me despite being Olympic winner so I will not work hard.

Ppl like Satwik/Chirag, Sindhu, Lakshya, Nikhat, Lovlina, the archers, the race walkers who apparently only train abroad, etc. need to be pulled up and given a proper firing.
