I think it’s been settled that she isn’t trans and many of her accusers have retracted their statements and apologized. The IOC has also explained everything. As an aside, most MENA countries especially North African countries are quite liberal compared to south Asian countries, that’s why you see many more female athletes from Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia, their countries are more westernized than any south Asian countries which is why they don’t face the same bullying and racism desis do because of our obnoxious desi mannerisms, behaviors and dress sense. Personally I don’t support the alphabet/rainbow community but Islamic countries like Pakistan and Iran legally recognize trans genders, in Iran they even pay for the surgery. In Pakistan, similar to India there is a subculture of Hijras/kusras. That said, Imane Khelife is a biological woman.

Pakistan has raw talent for sure and Punjabis  in general on both sides of the border have a strong sporting culture- for both men and women. Maybe some talent not coming through for Pak these days due to radicalization but raw talent is there for sure . Maybe this will encourage more money in sports. However social and economic factors will only give you such freak performances, overall regardless of whatever genetic or other theories, things will never go anywhere.

That's why don't understand this obsession with 90+ when Neeraj is the benchmark for all other athletes in this sport. Sure he ain't dominant like Usain Bolt or Phelps, but to win any event you have to compete with Neeraj. Arshad did it today, maybe the Czech will do it in World Championship. 

 

Neeraj has achieved everything, won everything worth winning. Defending a gold in Olympics is tough, he did well all things considered. 

I can't believe people are complaining about Neeraj not hitting 90s when we never had hardly any presence in athletics in the past. Here we have a gold and silver Olympic medallist who consistently gives his best in crucial tournaments and people are still crying. Unbelievable.

Kuch bhi bolo, Pak Punjab, Ind Punjab and Haryana (can include till NCR) as a cluster has high potential in sports. 200 million population and can easily field great cricket, hockey, javelin, wrestling, boxing, shooting teams. 

 

Rest of SC just not good enough in sports.
