Neeraj saying he has Injury issues... And he couldn't workout much & his throws were well below his ability..I knew he was struggling prior to Olympics .. still a great effort to secure silver at least

This gold in Javelin for them will be another one in a long list of shortcuts to one up against India. Our growth in Olympics will be organic and hope we leave them in the dust within the next two olympics.

Very poor performance from all other athletes so far.

Even Sable's run was underwhelming well below his PB.

Long jumper, High Jumper, Triple Jumpers, Women's Javelin thrower, Toor the shotput guy, racewalkers, sprinter girls all were well below their personal bests. 

I had hoped Neeraj's gold will change things but it seems our athletes are happy with rewards they get after CWG and Asian games medals and don't strive to do better at Olympics level.

Not sure why he hasn't breached 90 after so many years. He has all the facilities in the world and puts in lots of effort.

Don't think Neeraj got it in him to cross the 90m barrier. He maximises everything he's got which is great. He's very consistent as well.
