Bangladesh to approach UN about keeping hosting rights for Women's T20 World Cup

The Bangladesh government is making last-ditch attempts through the United Nations (UN) to keep hosting rights for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup. Asif Mahmud, the youth and sports adviser of Bangladesh's interim government, said that it will speak to the UN about the countries that have put out travel restrictions on their citizens travelling to Bangladesh.

On Saturday, the ICC informed the participating boards that it is still monitoring the situation in Bangladesh, and that it will consider all options, including moving the tournament elsewhere. As it stands, the governments of Australia, the United Kingdom (England and Scotland), India and New Zealand have either asked their citizens not to travel to Bangladesh or discouraged them from doing so.

They CAN do it. Just like they can easily pressurize ICC to exclude Pak from World cups and CTs. But will they?

My point is worry about neither. India has enough to deal with internally. If they enter illegally, then treat them as illegal and treat them accordingly

Not really, it isn't, it was one player who carried the team, kind of like how Sachin used to help win one off tournament against Australia like desert storm Sharjah cup or the CB series in australia.

 

Indian team has a way better recent record overall and head to head. Your post is like seeing Pak win CT 2017 based on fakhars innings and claiming pakistan was better than that Indian team.

What is boring to one is not boring to another . I have watched numerous women's international games live  which I enjoy and this year watched 3 IPL games at Modi Stadium and I have never been so bored in my life watching them . My brother and I booked up this morning to go to the UAE to watch our Scotland women's team in the WC
