Nikhil_cric Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Kohli was just stubborn with his approach for far too long. Constantly trying to meet the ball early in tough SENA conditions was his undoing. Gollum 1

Frustrated Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Just now, Gollum said: His struggles have been more pronounced in home tests tbh. He doesn't enjoy batting against spin these days. He will hv struggles on all front in the subcontinent. Thats the worst part. He is now a UK citizen. India is too hot & humid for him nowadays. His body language, gesture etc on the field during the BD series were like that of a european trying to adapt to these conditions. Master_better, Gollum, putrevus and 1 other 4

Constantly trying to meet the ball early in tough SENA conditions was his undoing. His biggest issue was his team selections! Dropping Umesh/Shami(?) in CT 2017 finals bowling first, dropping an inform KL to pick thigh slapper in SA, then playing musical chairs with openers though Eng/SA tour, picking two spinners on a green/damp Lords, not picking Jadeja in fourth test, picking collar abuser/dropping Shami in 2019 SF the list is literally *ing endless! I can excuse the odd failure or two, in fact he's still our best bat in that period but our failures are also his own doing - maybe he was influenced a bit too much by MS but then MS should never have been picked after 2017 CT disaster either Brat as a cap is *ing overrated, with the teams we had we should've won trophies left/right & center Edited October 8, 2024 by R!TTER

Great test team since 2015, will be unfair if they don't have this prize.....just because of stupid venue selection and proximity to IPL, we got shafted twice. Should have won or shared with Kiwis in 2020. That was a shameless lollapse on final day almost Poyzz esque. Shastri's biggest regret that game. Gollum and Tillu 2

Border Gavaskar Trophy series: Cameron Green likely to feature as pure batter Marsh is unlikely to bowl as well. So all the workload will be on 3 big quicks. If we bat well anything is possible. Hopefully Rohit has a bumper series. I don't think he is done with Australia even after WT20. Gollum 1

Tillu Posted October 8, 2024 Author Posted October 8, 2024 Ducket went for a scan. If only Smith didn't miss the stumping chance or Atkinson held on to the simple catch Ducket would have been safe and Ollie Pope still padded up. jigjig 1
CoverDrive Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 I feel Pak is going to miss Nauman Chachu. Test needs accurate finger spinners who have lot of overs under the belt. Jack leach helped control the innings even though he was attacked in between. Salman will take some wickets. It is going to be a spinners pitch

Tillu Posted October 9, 2024 Author Posted October 9, 2024 Kane Williamson like always was injured and might miss the test series with us.

rollingstoned Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Match itna interesting hai ki uske siwai baki har cheez ka discussion chalu hai. Lol. Our batsmen really missed out by not getting a chance on these pitches, even 00 pitches in India were not this flat and dead. That duckett catch was painful, that too of a tailender who was going to get out anyway. Porazha kaalam.
Lone Wolf Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Peter lalor the Aussie journalist saying Green is set to miss Perth test and is in doubt for whole series in fact. Aaron Hardie might get a chance @Gollum Gollum 1
