I believe statements by leaders have larger implications.

Long back MBS said that “He sees India as land of Hindus”.
Outcome: We have significant growth in peace, cooperation and partnership with allmost all Middle Eastern Islamic nations.

Now: Tulsi ended her keynote with Jai Shri Krishna.

Possible Outcome: For smart people to decode.

This is exactly why the most educated and highest earning ethnicity in USA ( Hindu-Americans) have voted for trump in record numbers..... coz we knew he was close to some of the hinduvta elements in USA that will yeild this outcome for India overall.

I don't, for me actions speak louder than words and US/UK or Saudis have been complicit in harming Indian interests for years now! Although you could argue it's getting slightly(?) better for us in the middle east overall.

@Lone Wolf @IndianRenegade @New guy @Vilander @zen your thoughts

In evolution, when a species becomes too stupid and refuses to adapt with the times, they go extinct. Americans will find this first hand, particularly those who were so short sighted and greedy who thought they are ok to screw everyone else as long as they get a few dollars more in the stock market because of trump. tooo stupid to realize just how many things this guy can destroy, not just in America, but the world. They dont have long to find out.

Right at the time where they need to focus hard on it. But us has always been a laggard in primary education they are more focused on specialized education. They are a country of specialists.

You know how Vivek Ramaswamy is a fraud? An Indian immigrant or kids of Indian immigrants against Dept. Of Education & public education is a fraud.

It’s probably in our DNA to know the importance of education.

explain the logic where an immigrant has to be pro-US govt department xyz.

Vivek is literally in favour OF Indian education system and values as he has espoused, not yankee child groomer education system.

I think hindu who stays true to his religion at expense of political gain is less of a fraud than half tamil ABCD lady who pretends to be hindu one day, christian the next, afro american one day, indian the next

Indian education system is highly centralised, center & state govt have more control over what your children studies than in US.

if such an education system was created in US, the right will bring out the pitchforks.

Indian education system is literally one of the most de-centralized and state-oriented education system there is on the planet.

I cant think of any other nation with as many education boards for secondary and higher secondary...can you ???

On what planet is the most localized education format the most centralized ?!

Only ignorants confuse education with Federal Dept of education. States and school districts do have policies of education, Fed ed board , we don’t know what it was doing. We elect board of Ed in each school district, they form the education policies of the school district/city/coynty. Federal body was doing something that nobody knows

I asked a simple question. Explain how country with the most decentralized regional boards is more centralized Than a nation with far less decentralized boards.

Ps: I studied  Bengali medium and icse if you count school changes.

As your ideological firend @coffee_rules here would tell you - "We elect board of Ed in each school district, they form the education policies of the school district/city/coynty.", i.e, US circulum is decided at the school district level. = Decentralized.

In India 80% of enrolled students are in CBSE & state boards, which accuratley reflects what I said "Center & state govt have more control over what your children studies than in US". ICSE is also not decentralized, if your school is affliated to ICSE the curriculum is determined by ICSE.

So if you favor Indian educational system, you favor a system that is mostly dictated by Central govt, & State Govts, vs a very decentralized system like in the US where circulum is set at the school district level.

Vivek actually wants Americans to prioritize education and he lost politically when he spoke against the American culture of celebrating sporting success ahead of educational success. Not sure where the link here is .

prioritize education is not a policy. It is a slogan.

Defunding public education to send the money to private schools is the policy.

If state controls education then it's not centralized.

Saying 'state and central controlled centralized education' is an oxymoron and a lie.

Par for course for libbus I must say to imply that country with the most number of decentralized education board is even more centralized education than usa.

Ps: usa still exercises far greater conformity in course load than Indian Ed does.
