javier26 Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 (edited) Or atleast from Asia ? Reaching speeds of 150Kph three times in one over . In every random over, he bowls speeds like 146, 148 for fun. Hes maintaining his speed over sessions and its not like maintaining high speeds playing in IPL for 4 overs. Strangering Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 No, Shahin Shah Afridi is the phastest. First class and Vijy 2
The Hound Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 (edited) Watched some overs of his bowling today, was consistently hitting around 145 with odd balls being in 150-153 range. Terrific spell of fast bowling. Edited December 2, 2024 by The Hound Lone Wolf, tweaker and nitinbwj 1 2
vvvslaxman Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 ALan Donald has really done good with this otherwise crappy team. Now it is a matter of finding world class batsman something they have been trying since their inception into Test cricket.
Lone Wolf Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Mark Wood clears & I think Coetzee might be second. But Nahid is clearly in Top 3. Dude's average speed doesn't drops at all. Really impressed with this young gun. Vijy 1
Nikhil_cric Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 88 % deliveries above 140 kph this match. Nortje doesn't play Tests now but was seriously quick too. Bangladesh have to be very careful. If he's only 21(real age) , they shouldn't bowl him into the ground and control his workload for the next 3 years . Harder part would be keeping him away from T20's. Lone Wolf and Vijy 2

Lord Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Never thought a BD pacer will cross 150. golden age for pacers this

T20s he was bowling rapid around 148-149ks time to time (comeback series post injury) He has some injury issues that I think he isn't going flat out & is injured again Edited December 3, 2024 by Lone Wolf

Coetzee ? A few 150ks were in there from Coetzee Edited December 3, 2024 by Nikhil_cric Lone Wolf 1

Rauf might have huffed and Puffed after 2 overs.

hoodlum Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 This is the list of fastest bowlers in 2024 in terms of average speed. Note that Wood is still the fastest while Rana is in the second position. Impressive! Vijy and tapandrun 2
vvvslaxman Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 For a fragile looking guy he has good speeds. Wonder if he has an injury waiting to happen.
vvvslaxman Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 That burger dude from SA also has pretty good pace.

But it's pointless when you average 37 with the ball lmao. Vijy 1

No, Rana has not played too many white ball matches ,think still has not made an t20i debut and played only 1/2 Odi games. Plus IPL teams do nt really trust proper faster bowler who do not have white-ball skills putrevus 1
