Or atleast from Asia ? Reaching speeds of 150Kph three times in one over .  In every random over, he bowls speeds like 146, 148 for fun. Hes maintaining his speed over sessions and its not like maintaining high speeds playing in IPL for 4 overs.

ALan Donald has really done good with this otherwise crappy team. Now it is a matter of finding world class batsman something they have been trying since their inception into Test cricket.

88 % deliveries above 140 kph this match.

Nortje doesn't play Tests now but was seriously quick too.

Bangladesh have to be very careful.

If he's only 21(real age) , they shouldn't bowl him into the ground and control his workload for the next 3 years .

Harder part would be keeping him away from T20's.

Coetzee was averaging around 135 k in the test series against us.  Rarely crossed 143 k.

His pace isn't consistent except maybe T20s.

His fastest was 153k vs SL in Durban..  T20s he was bowling rapid around 148-149ks time to time (comeback series post injury)

He has some injury issues that I think he isn't going flat out & is injured again

He is playing selective games so far.  ODI debut recently vs Afg. Played final ODI only.

Didn't play 1st test (blunder imo).

I think on average pace , he was the 3rd or 4th quickest pacer at the World Cup last year

Wood

Rauf

Ferguson? Coetzee ?

A few 150ks were in there from Coetzee

None would have bowled that fast in Eden that night SF v Aus in Peak Humidity.

Coetzee was a freak on Show.  Rauf might have huffed and Puffed after 2 overs.

Yeah.  And this dude bowled 8 overs on the trot at high average pace.   Anyway gets more bounce than the likes of Wood and Rauf.

This is the list of fastest bowlers in 2024 in terms of average speed. Note that Wood is still the fastest while Rana is in the second position. Impressive!

Mark Wood is the outlier nowadays.  Used to be Mitchell Starc between 2015-2020.

But it's pointless when you average 37 with the ball lmao.

Has any IPL team bid for this guy.

No, Rana has not played too many white ball matches ,think still has not made an t20i debut and played only 1/2 Odi games.

Plus IPL teams do nt really trust proper faster bowler who do not have white-ball skills
