And that average is 30 due to that useless unbeaten Perth 100 scored against likes of Labuschagne and Mitch Marsh, and also couple of other 100s which came on absolute pattas. The real average is closer to 20.

He had to be carried to all the ICC tourneys...

2. CT 2013 - Dhawan (standout batsman) and our bowling. They defended 129 in the final

3. WT20 2024 - Bumrah supported by Arshdeep and Bumrah who performed miracle after Kohli's slow knock had left us on a below par total. Even Axar and Dube played better innings.

 

He couldn't help us win anything when he was the so called "King". In CT2017 he shat his pants against Pak. In ODI WCs he has failed in knockouts - 2015, 2019 and 2023 final. As for WTC final, he had had 2 chances and failed in both. The only boxes Kohli has checked is riding on others' coattails just like his impactless runs which hasn't helped the team at all.

Has been for a few years now. Has played solid innings in home matches and saved us at SCG in 2020-21 BGT. Same with Jadeja, Sundar, Shardul, Axar or any bowling all-rounder. Kohli has been absolutely useless for 5+ years now in Tests and in ICC tourneys, his choking in knockouts has broken all records.

Also he should try to cover drive bouncers while batting 3m from the crease. Might actually work !
