To be fair he is rated only by BCCI selectors. I don't think any fans hype him. Even CSK fans trolled him until he hit a six and four. Actually if you look at that match CSK should have never been in that situation. He tuk tuked early on and made it an impossible task. He got lucky there.

He still slow in ipl for modern t20 standard. And sena bowlers bowl pie in ipl   in international they won't give you any lose delivery. There was a match jadeja destroyed Mustafizur in ipl but in international I am pretty sure Mustafizur eat jadeja alive

Worst of all is that Axar was settling in to that no 5 role and could have been crucial in this series to add balance. Axar should be one of the first names in the ODI set up 

 

It baffles me that they still see Jadeja as a good ODI player let alone one who is better than Axar

Axar too is a mediocre bowler can't rely on him for wickets he can contain runs on his best day

Ashtwin bowled brilliantly too in that edition. If I am right in CT final Ashein bowled the final over. Also in power play. Actually Ash was more versatile. He bowled magic deliveries like he bowled to Amla.  He was rightfully left out. Becauseen of Jadejas fielding he managed to hang around. But they didn't treat him as no 8. That is where my problem is. Mostly he survived because our batsmen could not bowled even a single over to save their life. Tendulkar bowled 10 overs in WC final. Had bowled 50th over. Can kohli do it? No.

They can keep Axar at 7 temporarily. But he is not a finisher though. We still need a proper finisher. We rely on top order finishign the game. Let me gather some stats on that.

The biggest white ball fraud of all time. People have forgotten his role in the 23 WC F defeat, 9(22) at #6, walked in the 29th over and completely stalled the innings, even worse than KL. And never looked like picking a wicket that day, even Kuldeep induced a couple of edges. 

 

Both him and Ashwin were rightly kicked out of white ball in 2017, but this guy keeps making comebacks for no reason.

There is no need of spin bowling allrounder in SA 2027.

Jadeja, Axar and even Washington has no merit for the world cup.

 

Select batting allrounders, instead.
