You are giving him too much credit.  PK is  extraordinarily overrated. 

 

When there was a BJP wave in 2014, he joined there as advisor.  BJP leadership team threw him out after 2014, he got bitter and started advising Congress and regional parties who are opposed to BJP. BJP won with an even bigger margin in 2019.

 

He hasn't done a single turn around or revival of a struggling party. 

 

His aaukat ( 0 seats ) has been shown in his home state  Bihar where he did extensive bakchodi.

He made people aware of the importance of  industrialization, education , jobs more than NDA. But people saw through his empty candidates and he also withdrew , people chose BJP NDA to fulfill his promises.

I think someone on this forum posted before that freebies culture was started in Bangalore and Hyderabad,which was then followed with some laptop scheme in Bihar? and last year Maharashtra politicians also decided to give feebies so that the politicians have common playground to seek votes. It is okay when freebies were given in some states since decades but as soon as other states give freebie even for an year there is so much noise. 

 

The states that first started freebies culture should be made to stop the schemes. Then accordingly the other states also should be allowed to give freebies for same number of years and then they should be made to stop their scheme as well. Ultimately in a decade all such freebies schemes should be stopped.

On freebies, i think an underlying issue is urban vs rural India. The urban India is electorally very under-presented, and thus rural India gets a veto-power , welfare.

 

The 2026 delimitation holds the key, and together with 33% women LS seats , hopefully urban-India gets more voice,  with better balance of seats.

 

And with Congress constant talking about reservations in private sector , or how its big leaders previously, lamented UPI, mudra loans as unnecessary for poor India, all just shows how they don’t care , and lack of vision for urban India, technology innovations.
