Not really. We're hearing this from multiple sources. Atherton was discussing the same and heard a few other cricket media folks bringing up the same point. Why so you think this article came up? Coz folks are already undermining the performances. Same thing which happened in WT20.

I'll just say this. The fact that Pakistan has such a chut pakode team that can't even qualify for the semis in an ICC tournament that they bent over backwards to accomodate. 

 

Is India getting the home field advantage ? Yes. But so what ?

No matter what,even if we are in transitional phase we will still be favourites in ICC tournaments.Its just that we can't able to cash in knockouts.

Coz none of our batters stepped up in knockouts. Hopefully that won't be the case anymore :pray:

Just because India can't play there doesnt make it unfair

 

only thing is getting England 3 in a row. We should protest that but it is not the same as this one. 

If the WTC finals was in Asian conditions, it would have been unfair for SENA teams too, these teams usually get beaten in Asian conditions.

Don't you think India can play better in Asian conditions as compared to SENA and vice versa for SENA countries. I can't imagine Nz beating 2021 Indian team in Asian conditions, whether the venue was decided earlier or not hardly matters.

1 test match and call it wtc is useless trophy, test is always about, it will always be lob-sided if they play in asn condition or sena conditions.

 

Use less trophy in totality one team play 5 match test series is equal to a 3 match test series, once teams know which is v.early that they are out from top2 position they are no longer intersted and losing or playing a drawng series is nt an issue

It does matter because it is equal for everybody atleast theoretically. Here India got one venue only. 

 

WTC Finals should be rotated for sure

Also I'd probably say that india insisted on playing it's matches in UAE. They never insisted on playing their matches in Dubai. 

 

Blame the Pakistani administration for not scheduling matches outside of Dubai. Probably didn't want the added cost.
