Anyone really excited to see the new look T20 team with Bumrah?

The post 24 WC superteam is already insane. Add Bumrah to it. 

 

The IPL generation is finally here (as in players who picked up cricket when T20 was a thing) and it looks like team USA basketball.

 

I think we will only see a glimpse in some series before the 26 WC. When is it anyway? Feb-March or Oct-Nov?

 

Would like to see them in Asia Cup but Bumrah might be given rest.

With WT20 in India, we can look to replace SKY with Iyer at 4. Also some captaincy chops if needed.

Yup. BCCI needs a pretty face to replace kohli. Its either Gill or Abhishek. Guys like Rinku, no matter how skilled they are , will never get long rope from bcci. Another one could be Nitish reddy. Young, all rounder, decent looking boy, clean image like gill. Abhishek has the whole sucide thing hanging over his head.

I don't mind Bumrah not playing T20 Is.  He should just play world T20s.

So true. Rinku will always have to overcome all the biases and extra hurdles. I suspect Jaiswal is the same as well and he won't get the same level of support which others like Gill or KL got.

 

I hope if BCCI has to push the next star, it's someone like Abhishek who at least plays modern and aggressive cricket than someone like Gill or Ruturaj.

India already won the T20 WC undefeated and most of the matches were not even close.

 

And that was with Kohli, Pant, Dube, Jadeja.

 

The team has become better and is smashing everyone. Adding Bumrah will make it more potent.

 

Not saying they will win everything but right now in T20 cricket, the gap is huge between Ind and other sides.

Not update per say.
Just reading between the lines to what Zak said, he wants him to be 150% before fielding instead of 100%. Hints that perhaps he isn't ready at the moment.

Was anything serious found out ?

It can potentially hurt his entire career, if any involvement was found.

Don't know current status but he went on to have a great ipl and then selected for India so I guess no involvement would have been found.
