His hate for India and small d*ck energy aside I kinda liked him. He was an interesting character on the field and was arguably BD's best batsman of all-time. Played quite a few gutsy knocks for BD.

I think Tamim was a better batter, better human as well.

Liton too is super talented, just dont have the dedication.

It's a long tradition in  Pakistan and more lately BD for fundoo Muslim organizations to pull prominent cricketers into their fold. Especially the captain.

 

Goes back to the time of Saeed Anwar, although his was believed to be a family tragedy (loss of a child) that turned him into religion.

 

They went after Inzi, Afridi, and lately Rizwan - these are the few names that come to mind.

 

BD cricket I think its been a comparatively  recent trend, although they all now seem to be wearing what looks like wild pubic hear on their face.  God knows what uglier, BD cricketers before or after.

 

One reason I have some time for Shoaib Akhtar- he told them to f*ck right off.
