Only after the 1857 rebellion.

Before 1857 rebellion, the main component of British company army were bengalis, UP-ites and Biharis. The Bengal regiment and United province regiment.

Who also did the most damage to the british during rebellion. So they replaced them with Punjabis, who were faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more willing to die for the brits than any other indian group- not even gurkhas were as hell bent on dying for british interests as the sikh and muslim punjabi.

Just a quick message here to all ICFers based out of India whether it be USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE etc. if you have Pakistani colleagues, just try keeping topics of discussion to neutral ones. Else if there is animosity brewing up, just ignore. Keep it as civil as possible and avoid any verbal confrontation, not worth your peace of mind.

 

I'm not sure how the law enforcement is in the UK and Canada, but they are potentially the hotspots for violent activities. Once again, just live your life and keep your interaction with Pakistanis to bare minimum.

Yeah but Pakistanis deny that and India being the successor state gets that history (just like USSR gets Russian history and Stalin is seen as a Russian leader when he was Georgian).

Public ambivelence on this is a win for Pak, it basically means nothing say these in private. There is no actual cost to Pak from supporting terrorism if all they will incur is some priavte harsh words, but escape FATF, get IMF bailouts & worse can't even get condenmed publically.

you can’t fight China by being ambivalent against only military power that has engaged in combat with it recently.

Jokes on you, as i am the mental terrorist. I told a Pakistani co-worker the other day in joke in front of full office 'careful about this war....pakistan already got bangladesh circumcised off of it, we have nothing else to circumcise so its straight dick surgery this time' and whole office laughed.


I work IT and IT are like 2x more pussy people than any other desk job profession here, so the guys i pick on at office look like that lgbt cup-noodle eating Pakistani ranger we captured.

Ironically i work closely with a  pakistani guy settled in US. :facepalm::facepalm:.  He has not mentioned anything, but i will give it back if he talks like a half cut momin.
