Also the paid media (including political party handles on social media) fueled the situation by making it sound as if it is a one sided affair. But as the “war” (which is what this has likely turned into continues), the realities would emerge where many people would feel like being thrown in fire.

Per defense analysts, India has 30 days of munitions for INTENSE WARFARE plus another 30 for moderate warfare. I don't think this is nowhere near intense warfare, that may be why they aren't reacting with an escalation. They want to give the off ramp some more time. Just know that govt is acutely aware of this too and howsoever we are affected..the bankrupt enemy is impacted more. Their geography economy water etc makes their position precarious.
