Since it is Gauti i am not going to totally believe whatever they say about him. He is known for making some statements like this. I am not sure that is what he said. It was something about pitch. THey could have amicably sorted it out.

Alright. if that is the designated practice location wonder why the curator has anything to say there. Interesting. Let us see how it unfolds. ENglish media has its own version. From Daily mail they have shared the intervew of Kotak

Readin gthe story. Both the curator and Gauti were slightly out of line may be. Could have settled amicably. He could have just said "We will make sure we are away from the surface".

For every statement there are three components

1. Tone

2. Content 

3. Context

 

The reaction of Gambo clearly indicates that atleast point 1 or point 2 or both was inappropriate in Groundsman statement. The clarification by ground staff as “touchy” makes me feel all 3 points were inappropriate and hence the reaction.

They're just getting distracted by irrelevant issues and creating conflict and media stories when a mature guy could have tackled it firmly but discreetly. Now again all the focus is on a irrelevant issue when the TM should be focused on team selection which they got so wrong last time.
