Rather, his responsibility is to expose potential corruption. If he presents a credible claim of corruption, it then becomes the duty of the ruling party, which holds power over those institutions, to address the allegations and provide a public response. Who did he present the claim to? Since he does not trust ECI, he has to submit it in the court 11 hours ago, Alam_dar said: A free press is the essential first step of due process in a democracy. A functioning press compels the ruling party to be responsible and accountable to the public. If a government fails to answer public questions and ignores its duty to respond to its citizens, it risks losing credibility and public trust. The second step in this process is seeking a legal remedy through the courts. While the judicial system is vital, its effectiveness can be hindered by a long and arduous process, as well as by compromised or corrupt lower courts and judges. Therefore, in a true democracy, both a free press and an independent judiciary are necessary and crucial. A government's accountability extends beyond the courtroom; it must also answer for its actions in parliament and directly to its constituents. Did BJP itself fought all charges against ruling Congress in courts? Or did it go to press too and to the parliament too as an opposition party? Rahul is not accusing just BJP though, he is accusing ECI. And is yet to establish how is this not just a system failure but intentful corruption to help one party. Press as a step follows judiciary.

He made people aware, who were ultimately themselves able to see it. Are they also worried, as Rahul Gandhi is? It seems yes. There may be many reasons for Rahul not filing a lawsuit, like: leaving formal legal challenges to public watchdog groups, or civil society organizations. It may also be a tactical choice to bring broader attention to the issue before formal legal action is considered. Filing a petition requires legal preparation, evidence, and strategy, something that needs time and organization beyond public statements. 24 minutes ago, Lord said: Rahul is not accusing just BJP though, he is accusing ECI. And is yet to establish how is this not just a system failure but intentful corruption to help one party. Press as a step follows judiciary. How do we determine whether this is BJP’s deliberate fraud or just a system failure? In a democracy, the most effective way is to bring the issue before the public and raise awareness. Ultimately, whether it is deliberate corruption by the BJP or a system failure, the BJP is still responsible in both the cases and must be held accountable. This failure happened under BJP’s government. Instead of acknowledging its mistake, accepting responsibility, and explaining the truth to the public, the BJP is only attacking Rahul for exposing the issue.

And the proof already exists in the form of statistics and voter lists that the Election Commission of India has published on its website. Anyone can see that something is not right. It doesn’t matter whether this is due to a system failure or outright BJP corruption, in both cases, the BJP bears responsibility, because even the system failure occurred under its government. I firmly believe it is not Rahul Gandhi’s personal duty to single-handedly uncover every instance of fraud within government institutions. He does not have the power or authority to conduct such investigations, and therefore he cannot be held responsible for that. In a democracy, the Election Commission is indeed accountable to the public. It must allow people to question its policies, its methods of conducting elections, and the accuracy of its lists, and it must ensure those concerns are addressed. These questions and worries of citizens cannot be ignored by challenging them to bring proofs FIRST.

Happens at voter level: Votes for Notes. 2. Happens at booth level where party worker vote multiple times knowing if certain voter hasnt turned up. A lot of times they know that person on behalf of whom they are going to vote is actually their own party Supporter. Its complicated process but I know it happens. And it haopens everywhere including USA. ECI can do jackshit about either of above issues unless evoters biometics are scanned using Centralised integrated digital at booth level. But cost of implementation as well as risk of data breach is too high and may introduce altogether different issue. Opposition will start claiming hacking and people like you will try to make us belive that current voting machines with a Tech as similar to electronics in a calculator was hacked because you dont like the outcome of a election. Fact is: UNder the very same ECI system, BJP hasnt been able to make inroads into Mamata Di or Stalins territory which it has been trying right from day 1. mishra Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 Every database in world has Data Quality issues. The more older the database is, Bigger data quality issue. So its simple case of THe voter Database has Data Quality issues and will persists. There are n number of reasons and scenarios why Data Quality issues in ECI database can be. For example a particular address has 80 voter ids. It could be that Data Entry operator was lazy in putting the actual address, or untrained or may be address input was manadatory and he/she decided to put some address for sake of it. None of this goes to proove if Unique Voter id is invalid. You attempt to cleanse the data but can not just delete Voter Id data so easily because you must ensure Voters right is not compromised due to System issue. Even than you hear many voters that their id is not in a particular booth but in some other booth

Even than you hear many voters that their id is not in a particular booth but in some other booth CEC uses state machinary to fillow voter registrations. They are not central govt staff. In rural areas there are ccber / e-sewa centers where people use local operators to enter their data. many houses in villages don't have house numbers, they enter it is 0. Babli was seen wearing a T-shirt that said some lady , first time voter was registered as 125 years old. It turned out to be that the local operator had typed birst year as 1900 instead of 1990. Such errors are pretty common. The fact to prove that how are these discrepancies being taken advantage of , by the BJP and to call it Vote Chori. Chakdephatte Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 (edited) How do you explain the same name being in multiple booths?
