Not yet. They need a lot of things done correctly if they are serious about 2027. Get rid of Bavuma for starters. 

 

With QDK, Klassen, RVD and Miller(likely) gone, they need all their younger batsmen to step up.

Too early to say, most teams are either not playing odis, or even if they are playing Odis they are trying to use it as to check some of their players out if they can play ultra aggressively for upcoming t20 wc.

 

All these thing can be compared only when they finalize their teams for odis, Ind , NZ and SA all have over come the mental barrier of ICC event in recent times with different events.
