India squad for West Indies Test series

The IND vs WI Test series, part of the WTC cycle, will begin on October 2, just four days after the Asia Cup final. However, the India squad for the West Indies Test series could be delayed to September last week. The reason? The BCCI is in the process of finalising the selection committee.

 

While Ajit Agarkar, will remain in his position, two new selectors will come in. It is still unclear who would be replaced. But Shiv Sundar Das, Subroto Banerjee or Sridharan Sharath will likely be replaced. With two changes in the selection committee, the squad selection could be delayed.

There will be not any changes in the squad that played in England.

Karun Nair should make way for Sarfaraz or Shreyas. No need of Thakur, Reddy, Kamboj on Indian pitches, Axar shoud make a comeback to the squad and be 4th in line behind KD, Jaddu, Washi.

Yeah..SA has this habit of absolutely shitting in non consequential matches in shorter format. Aus hammered 400+ when they already won 2-0 and now,got hammered by Eng for another 400+ when they have wrapped up the series already.
