This match was a total farce and should never had happened 

 

But modi shah as always to salvage their position after anger from public, used Surya to make a speech in match presentation which is not really very mature even though they may be right

 

Unfortunately surya comes across a immature and unpolished person 

 

Kohli and Rohit won't have made this speech

 

Thing is he should not have made that speech in match presentation because it sets a wrong precedence

 

What if tomorrow pakistan player start making speech about kashmir , rafale down in match presentation and other muslim players about Palestine etc

 

Let's not encourage politicisation of sports

For me the true humiliation is to use our financial muscle to have other teams boycott them. Make it a you are either with us or with them for other teams.

As I said, they don't care, they earned millions and will laugh at the gullible Indians. They are ready to lose 100 more matches as long as they earn millions and use the same money to kill Indians.

I'm ok with not shaking hands part but yeah SKY shouldn't have made that statement at the end. He has unnecessarily put pressure on himself and the team. Best would've been not to shake hands, stay quiet, and dedicate the tournament win (if we win it) to Pahalgam victims.

Yes,

Not because it sets some wrong precedence. But it's more of counting eggs before hen lays.

 

Now we are anyway playing, lets wait till we win it actually. He should have simply said, we were asked to play, which we did. We didn't do handshake because we didnt feel doing the same.

 

It seems BCCI/GOI is using players to curb down the negative sentiments. Which for me it falls flat.

I think need to go back to school and revise your English, I mentioned that if India boycotts ‘a tournament’ it is big news, Pakistan doing it is not so much. 

 

I never mentioned anything about India boycotting this specific Asia Cup.

I don't see another India Pak game happening...easier way out would be UAE beating Pakistan.

GoI and BCCI won't be able to face the brunt second time around.

I was okay till dedicating win to pahalgam victim but he shouldn't have spoken about armed forces.
