No Pakistani player wants to "kill me" or indeed kill any Indian player

 

Arrogance if earned is one thing, but after being lucky to win and fielding so atrociously.. and also in a format where a one off good performance could well see Pak beat us soon maybe even in the WC..  then one needs to be careful ..  and anyway it is right to be more respectful to all opposition in general

You guys should stop asking about the rivalry. If there's a scoreline of 7-7 or 8-7, then it's called a rivalry. But if the scoreline is 10-1 or 10-0, it's not a rivalry anymore

Let me tell with full confidence:

Pakistan will NEVER be better than India again.

 

Pakistan being better than India was an aberration. India being better is the norm.

 

Pakistan was only better because cricket had not yet become a fully professional sport - similar to how Uruguay was better than Brazil/Argentina in the 1930s and Hungary was better than France/Spain/England/Italy for the 1930s to 1950s.

 

Thing is cricket becoming so professional advantages the richer first world nations (hence Eng/NZ becoming better) plus India with its massive population and booming economy.

 

Indian pci/hdi vis a vis Pakistan will only keep growing over the coming years, expanding  the gap.

Essentially for the current generation, they have only seen India overtly dominate Pakistanis . Fair to say that reflected in SKY's comments. An additional factor is in these 15-20 years, Pakistan has hardly had any world class superstars unlike from the 80s and 90s. Hence the general awe ( listen to Gavaskar, Shastri, Sidhu, Ajay Jadeja speak about them) has also faded.

 

Plus he was responding to the off and on field antics of Pakistani jokers since last week. It was an apt response, even if a bit OTT. I don't like that our team and players are having to clean up the mess they have been left in by a bunch of spineless idiots in GOI and money hungry morons in BCCI.

These figures correspond directly to India's economic rise and the increasing gap between India/Pak.

Even freak talents need to be nurtured and need coaching, injury rehabilitation etc.

All it takes is a clutch of world class talents being part of the same team. In 15 years the roles could well be reversed.

To become a first world country, many things needs to change in India - you know the most common thing, don't throw trash wherever or some civic commonsense is massively missing from the Indian (south asian in general which includes BD/PAK/SL) population - there is a reason the world hates indians right now - but that's another discussion. 

Also, 50 years is a long time - the way things are going, with how much certainty can you say that Ind/Pak won't start a Nuclear war? That would also reduce the population/infrastructure/economic disaster. Never assume that it will keep on going upwards. Always assume that there will be a blockage along the way. Maybe Aus will be back to #1 again, who knows.

Naah. India already is at 0.685 HDI in 2023.

 

Will be 0.7 in 2-3 years at max (earlier tbh) which is high HDI.

 

Will be 0.8 by mid century at least which is first world.

 

There will be no nuclear war.

 

Also Aus cannot compete with Indian population/economic growth. Only reason they could compete was India was damn poor. As that solves, they will be left behind too.

 

The "world" does not hate Indians. White nats (Amplified by social media does). Vast majority of countries including the important ones have good relations with India and India is economically growing. Even Chinese had bad civic sense in the 2000s and 2010s (google Chinese tourists) which got solved as they got richer. Expect the same to happen to Indians.
