Leftie batters are more difficult to handle. look at the IPl and all of the aggressive openers who performed or scored a 100 - Jaiswal, Abhishek, Priyansh Arya, Suryavanshi, Sai Sudarshan. The only exception was Ayush Mhatre.

 

Gill averages 28 at intl level and goes missing in finals. Why not replace him with Jaiswal?

Looks like he cracked a rib. Those are quite painful (though not serious) and needs a few weeks.

SKY still conforms to the high SR low avg mindset. Iyer is not a very high upgrade over Surya. On flat pitches, SKY >>> Iyer.
