Boycott Pakistan totally. If BCCI had the balls , they would walk the talk and isolate Pakistan fully from international cricket. 

 

Build three different teams for three different formats if you must. Make them play as much bilaterals against the other teams so that Pakistan find it tough to organise any cricket tours except against Zimbabwe and Uganda

Even though supporting Afghanistan in their stance will be the best we can do for them, both politically and in cricket and will put pressure on Pakistan to avoid such things in the future.

 

Stop shedding crocodile tears at the victims if you don't want india to help them in anyways. No one is fooled by them.

100% in mentality. Iaf despite all flaws were told not to engage civilian or military targets and focus militant camps. You cant be selective in a war..

They might have shot down some jets. But then again we bombed their bases and hit them so hard that they were back to licking Trump's arse. 

 

Next time onwards , stop sending jets and pilots. Just surface to surface missiles taking out their defense will do. They had no answer to our strikes once we decided to strike military bases.

If it means that we've got to carry a couple of guys from Bangladesh in our IPL squads, so be it. Once relations with Bangladesh improve ofcourse. 

 

The good Lankan cricketers would anyway get in. 

 

Get Afghanistan players to be counted in the developing nations tag and who aren't to be counted as foreign players as far as IPL is concerned. Let them play domestic cricket in India as well. A change comes from within , the more they see india and the more they can influence their regime to mend their ways and empower women etc too. There needs to be a carrot and stick with respect to Afghanistan. Anything to help them and also let their regime do the change voluntarily.

Exactly...and India need to work strategically towards the same.

 

Not only Afg, India can provide the access to Nepali cricket team as well...make them a competitive Asian team. Teams like HK, Thailand, MY, SG too have a cricket team...we can reserve IPL draft for one player each (doesnt matter if they play) from those nations. Thats how you build the soft power and make people watch the game in those countries.

 

Cricket isnt a game anymore....India need to covertly use that and gain influence. Simply counting money isnt gonna help.

Fair point. For this forum. But it's all over social media that Afghanistan and their board chose differently than what GOI and BCCI chose.

Hearing Zimbabwe will be replacing Afghanistan. I think Zimbabwe should refuse to tour as well in solidarity with killed cricketers.

 

If anything, BCCI should warn Zimb board

I don't think it's fair at all. If Indians really care for Afghanistan, they would want their government to help Afghanistan politically and in cricket.

America used it's soft power to be a global leader while USSR failed. Russia is striking back with social media infiltration. China is doing this big time in different fields and doing it online. Jews have been doing it for centuries. UAE used it's money to spread it's influence.

 

We have all the opportunity and have a better chance with better english and better immigrants but are scared to do it.

If India with all its diplomacy and BCCI with all its financial clout doesn't get Pak banned from International Cricket then it's a historical miss. Pakistan is directly responsible for death of Afghanistan's Cricketers. What else is left? Get PAK BARRED FROM ICC!!
