Someone go and watch BBC cricket youtube channel. There was this cleavage bearing host with Andy the hair Zaltzman and McGrath ! It was so cringe. Mcrath was short of words on Aus performance. Everyone else was giggling. Hahahah....I would sure like a repeat programme now :hysterical:

Ya only because they play more test… When sachin was at his peak before 2000 india was playing 7-8 test per year even when only test and odis were main events. This Anderson and Root will only be famous in england and Pakistan for obvious reason. Aussies are ultimate boss bloddy they dont care about individual even if that individual is cummins or hazzlewood .

They were playing even less, during his peak SRT didn't even play 20 games during a 5 year period at home.

Now imagine how legendary the RSA effort was in WTC final. So many times they were down and out but kept clawing back in, and by the end of the match, they mentally broke Cummins and co.

Australia's record in Lord's is probably better than their record in any of their home venues barring Gabba.

Someone should have put an anchor and played a big innings for England

They were in pole position like us last year, due to true nature of these surfaces we piled on ,thanks to Jaiswal and Kohli

Aus did receive a pasting from us that too at Perth, then came badada Vada and rest is history

Had Head failed here (good chance because of his risky style and this pitch), Smith would have been grilled and mocked by everyone.

He wouldn’t give people the chance as he would've come in & win the game for them himself

i feel till date our coaches are unable to read pitch and select teams. No matter who the coach is they will always play 2 spinners and 2 pacers , i m seeing this trait since eternity.

So it was Heads idea to open the innings and Smith gave a go ahead. Just read this in the presentation.

I mean that was the common sensical move, a target of 300+ and he would have come in at 5/6/7 et al.
