JItesh sucked balls in this match. Also captaincy was horrendous. Mismanaging bowling resources.

“They are masters of powerplay (Vaibhav and Priyansh Arya, who was also not given the chance to bat in the Super Over). But in the death overs Ashu (Ashutosh Sharma), Raman (Ramandeep Singh) and me are players who can hit at will. So it was team decision and my decision,” Jitesh said in the post-match presentation.

Jitesh is chump who may not get chance post this in any indian squad but biggest of them all is this Wadhera during whole tournament he did tuk tuk and taking singles and playing dot balls in death over. One thing is you are trying and failing but this guy was literally playing dots and singles through bout his inning. Pathetic idiot.

He seems like Kela. Has some ability but just melts under pressure

We lost. Fine. No big deal.

What I enjoy are these youtubers. India humiliated by BD etc etc is always so funny to hear and then the comments people post so emotional.

Naman I thought was in clasical mould

Maybe he doesn't have that slam bang game, still you have Ruturaj who is also hailed as classical batsman but doesn't suck balls like that in t20s ,the way Naman did

Still i would like cut some slack for this Naman, maybe not his game

Yes only him and Priyansh should carry forward from poonjab others like jitesh, wadhera should be sacked permanently after this.

Ind does not win this  emerging aisa cup that often think they only won once in 2013 thats it.

Ind lost lat time to Afgn in SF and was on backfoot vs pak during large part of the game. That team had Tilak, Abhishek, kambooj, Prabsimran,.

These kind of tournament is just to test your c/d level team but this was a good batting line-up they were the seen as new high potential IPL talent and should have ensured the title win with 2 Ind capped player (raman, jitesh)and one(jitesh) of which may play the next t20i WC.

Think viabhav can be transitioned to the next level-- Ind cap. He was able to keep his high sr on some tacky pictchs.

And because Jitesh is in Ind's wc plans they need to think about it now. 3-4 matches where he didnt look like an intnl batter.

what happened to Shashank Singh.. I was surprised to not to see him in this match and that 50 over game against SA A

He is 34 yo, no point in investing him for Odis formats. has only played 35 fc games so far

He is t20 specialist, if there was sometime to t20 wc then Ind should have tried him. And sending him in emerging cup is waist of a spot.

they are fixated on allround skills.. he bowls a bit so no harm in trying him. I feel we should try these 30+ guys who bring niche skills which we usually lack.. mystery spin.. specialist death bowler.. hitters etc

This was emerging cup, so its ok if they do nt want to senf ~35 yo player.

But its also okay if give such player a chance in Ind side if they are good and brings the skill-set which is needed in the side. The best format for those kind of players in t20is.

T20i wc is 2 years cycle, team can bring some1 for that specific wc as there wont be much change in the age issue of again and fading cricketing strengths and secondly cricket is evolving too fast so investing long-term in  t20is is does not carry much value.

Specific to Ind batters- most 1st gen ind t20 batters got good in their 30s are started playing it like its a 20 overs format. By that time they undesyand where they stand in terms of skill set what they  need to work on and what are areas to improve and some weaknesses. -- Sky, DK, tripathi all are example of such player.

Even Rohit understood t20 v.late , though he was scoring runs but those runs to be effective batter has to score really fast.

Consolidating and then trying to hit 4/6 does not work out most of the time, specially playing vs a good t20 side.

Naman only failed in this game.. all other games he did well.

I thought he was really destroying Pakistan the other day but his over aggressiveness costed him.  That Malnourished spinner gave him a send off after getting thrashed
