My biggest frustration is body shape of our fast bowlers.   Big belly with double chin. Look at the fatso that are pretending to be fast bowlers.  Yash Thakur, Deshpande, Shardul, VYshak,   When you look at young NZ fast bowlers it looks embarrassing. They are super fit.  That fire, vigor nothing is there.They practice mostly slower balls. Not pace balls. Even harshit for a 23 year old looks fat.

The 4 people who I heard say that  explicitly is Hardik, Harbhajan and Ravi Shastri. Good chance  statements were made on a Saturday night. The 4th guy is Gambhir. Don’t think he is the partying kind but he is always high/drunk on jingoism

They could have easly sent Prince Yadav,Yudvir, Ashok Sharma , Eden Apple Tom or even Gurnoor. Even always injured karthik tuagi, 85% Mayank and Umran could have done much better than these chewtiya bowlers. There are bowlers but bcci dont give a f**k about developing bowler . All they need is a king or prince so long as they are there they dont care about anything.

We can send..but they will be average teams only..

Having 3 teams with average combination is one thing but having only 15 players who are fit and top tier is different..

We can, but to do that selectors have to wake up from the SM and actually look at the games on the ground.

But no one will tell these buggers to get fit, Srafaraz Khan gets shunned because he looks unfit.

Bro, this list is not my wishlist but pacers who are actually being picked for India and India A in the different formats. 

 

Harshit is there in T20Is.

 

Mayank is never fit, so don't know what to say. He is planning a return for the IPL. Why is he not looking to play domestic cricket ??  How serious is he about a non-IPL career !

By the way we have enough spin back ups. But we need to form that 4 pronged pace attack again.  Two of them should be able to bat. We are way way behind in pace department compared to SENA.

Yudhvir was part of the squad but didn't get a game for some reason.

 

I don't know what they see in guys like Yash Thakur. He has never looked cut out for this level. I would have tried out an emerging rookie like Prince Yadav, Ashwani Kumar or Akash Singh instead.

Why r u worried OP ? When Siraj and bumrah age out we have Har **** Rana to take over both the place. I would not be surprised if we stop playing specialist Fast bowler and play only all rounders like Nitesh Reddy , Pandya and develop Har **** as all arounder as well.

Who are the new pacers who can target the top of off stump ball after ball at 135 k to 145 k or higher ?

 

Hit the pitch hard and not just float the ball up.

 

Have a good change up bouncer too.

 

These will be our good pacers for the future.

Not really, umran is fit but not getting chances. Mayank underwent back surgery in June, so, missing domestic was obvious so better to target IPL where he could again show he is back. He also came into limelight because of IPL and not domestic. Without IPL, most people would still not have known him as he still couldn't have played a lot of domestic due to injuries.

There are none such bowlers. Bowlers who can hit 140 also must understand that they will still have to be hitting top of off stump.
